Shadowman 03:49
I am wide awake, but I can't move a bone in my body I'm cognizant of the way his footsteps sound in the hallway... Did you hear that? His hands fold around the door Good Lord, look at the size of his fingers! Shadow, Shadowman Shadow, Shadowman He's a shadow, Shadowman And he's coming to get me Shadowman! Look out for the Shadowman He's looking right at me And I can't move a muscle Move a muscle Move a muscle Move a muscle Move a muscle Move a muscle Shadowman! Shadowman! Now he's right next to me I can feel his breath on my face now Frozen, I can't fight or flee Suddenly, there's a light in the window

If you're going away, if you're leaving today We gotta face-to-face it If I'm hitting the road and I don't know where to go I don't want to regret it forever Hold on, I can't find you There's a future if we could speak the same language Hold on, I wanna find you For this moment we could get it right (tonight) If you're going away, if you're leaving today We gotta talk it over If you walk out that door and it's just like before I don't want to wait forever

Spooklight 05:10
Once upon a quiet night Not too far from here I saw an eerie light Then WHAT? It disappeared Spooklight Spook Spooklight Spook It was close to midnight But it was bright as day Up and down, left to right Then it flew away I'm not the only one now I'm not the only one now In the corner of your eye When you least expect From the darkness of the night You won't ever forget Spooklight Spook Spooklight Spook

The Voice 05:44
2:00 am on the street Threadbare lives, Sin City nights I gotta get off my feet It's been a long day now Heading down the back roads And all the corners crowds don't go Where no lights get in and the shadow grows There's a voice in my mind says, "Turn around now, turn around now" Yeah, there's a voice in my mind taking me places Something's going down tonight, tonight, tonight It's the end of the world tonight My suspicion it sneaks That darkness is pregnant with evil And I can smell the black tide comin' in Then the voice it speaks Says, "Go on down the other road now 'Cause the light is breaking in Yeah the light is breaking in" There's a life on the brink tonight 3:00 am on the street Hearts are racing, hands are shaking After all of the grief could this be? Maybe once in a lifetime The darkness cracks and you get her back and The prisoner walks free The prisoner walks free There's a lost sheep that's safe tonight

I've been down this road before I know what's behind that door No one can say what it is to me "There's a sign!" The sign says no soliciting Tomorrow's always a mystery What will you find in the night Watching the flames taking flight What will it mean then in the end To rise above a premonition? I see your signs - red in the sky Gotta do what's right for me and mine Not everything is heaven-sent For every broken clock and lucky guess There's a thousand disappointments What will you find in the day Watching the ashes cast away What will it mean then in the grey Burning tomorrow to yesterday?

Wake up and put your pencils down You with the insolence and your plastic crown The wolves are tearing up the old playground That's what comes around Pull the alarm the storm is bearing down There's a hurricane here in Rooktown This foundation isn't feeling sound Is it too late to turn around? Is it too late to turn around? Can I get out before I drown? Sometimes the hero rises from the grave Sometimes we're baptized in a tidal wave Sometimes fire rises from the ash Some things are better for the clamour and the crash Here they come leading the parade High-step, goose-step in the cavalcade Don't dare question their trail of grenades That's the way it's played If you wanna hide, I'll be your barricade If you wanna fly, I'll be your rotor blade If you want some toast, I'll bring the marmalade That's the way we play That's the way we say It'll be better someday Raise a glass to the open road Turn your backside to the status quo Let the current of the river flow That's the way it could go Take a ride on an iron rhino Take a trip up to an arctic floe Ride the coattails of someone you know That's the way it goes It just goes to show That's the way it goes

He gets up early to embrace the dawn Gazing out the picture window with his wool socks on The snow shimmers in the starlight A white blanket on the lawn A sea of cold tranquility to rest in before it's gone He knows there's more than meets the eye (And the wonder of it all) His eyes see far (And the wonder of it all) He knows in the Minnesota sky (And the wonder of it all) There are more than stars (And the wonder of it all) Across the icy plain a wild wind blows His eyes are frozen at what he does not know Against the black above a circle glows and grows Grab a camera to capture it before it goes

Everybody knows how everything goes But here come the crows to tell me what's right They bang on my door They crash to my floor They weren't here before and they won't give up the fight As the crow flies Before we realize We get demoralized slowly As the crow flies Before we realize We get polarized slowly slowly They seem to read my thoughts Are they hatching a murder plot? They stare at me in the parking lot I can't scare 'em away Everybody knows How everything goes But I've got these crows who follow me like prey Here they come again They treat me like a friend They want me to follow them as far as the curse is found Look how they carry on Like a rook would treat a pawn They won't stop until I'm gone It's time I stood my ground

Pareidolia 04:26
See the man, see the face See the shapes up in outer space I saw the news and it made me cry See the signs up in the sky See the truth and see the lies Come with me and you'll be surprised I saw the ghost I hear the whispers I saw the ghost Hear the music, connect the dots Hear the rhythm of the tyrant's thoughts I heard the news and it made me mad Hear the troops across the land Draw a line here in the sand Come with me and you'll understand I know what I see I see what I know I know what I see I see what I know Come on now!

Mystery 10:19
At the end of every journey there's another quest At the end of every journey At the end of every story what comes next? At the end of every story See the mountains rise Hear the river's cries Smell the forest pines It's sublime Feel the autumn rains Sit in the summer shade Friendship unafraid It's no charade I thought I had clout, had it all figured out 'Til the mystery walked in my door She opened my eyes and to my surprise Nothing felt like it did before Kept me up nights, took me to new heights Gave me thoughts that I couldn't ignore Now I've got an enigma and probably a stigma But there's just so much I gotta explore Here it comes again getting under my skin Can't work the mystery out All of these questions and all of the connections Make me wonder what it's all about She's making more sense and I'm out of defense Trying to make peace with my doubt It's not coincidental and maybe it's essential But I'm not sure if I'm allowed Wow! I can explain everything I can explain almost everything I can't explain hardly anything I can't explain a thing No! No! No! Conscience and consciousness Beauty and art We are surrounded by mystery From ocean's shore to planet's rings Writers and dreamers and the universe sings We are astounded by mystery At the end of every journey there's another quest At the end of every story we wonder what comes next The soul of the explorer will never be at rest The soul of the explorer will never be at rest
